We are always pleased to offer teletherapy as a way to connect with you.

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we moved all visits to teletherapy. For our perinatal population focus, this continues to work extremely well for the flexibility of clients to see us wherever they are. We remain fully virtual for all our visits.

Teletherapy allows you to meet with your therapist through audio and video securely over the internet from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere in California. There’s no need to deal with traffic when you can attend your appointments directly from a laptop or mobile device, saving you time and hassle.

You can meet with your clinician on-the-go from your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device – it’s your choice! If you are using a computer, no additional software is required. If you prefer to use a mobile device (e.g., smartphone or tablet), first download the Telehealth by SimplePractice app, available or iOS or Android in the app store.

  • Identify a suitable place that is quiet, private, and free of distractions.

  • To keep background noise to a minimum, make sure to close any doors, shut windows, turn off the television, and keep loud pets in another room, if possible. Consider hanging a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door to avoid interruptions.

  • If you have small children, we recommend scheduling your session during nap time or finding an activity that will keep them busy.

Just like a face-to-face appointment, your teletherapy visit is private and confidential. None of your appointments will ever be recorded or stored.
Most insurance plans cover teletherapy appointments the same as in-office appointments. Please check with your plan to make sure teletherapy is covered (we are happy to help you with this).

Prior to your session, you will receive a link via text message or email that is unique to each session. If you are using a computer, simply click on the link and enter your name when prompted. To use a mobile device, you must first download the Telehealth by SimplePractice app. If you have not received a link 10 minutes prior to your session, please contact our office for help.
