About Me
Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and first-generation Latina committed to providing trauma-informed and culturally responsive mental health care. I have spent much of my 16-year career specializing in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and working alongside parents and caregivers of young children. I also specialize in perinatal mental health, supporting survivors of domestic violence, and helping individuals recognize, break, and heal from intergenerational trauma patterns.
I understand that our experiences do not exist separately from our families, cultures, identities, and communities. The ways we learn to cope, connect, care for others, and understand ourselves are often shaped by the people and experiences that came before us. I make an intentional effort to integrate healing practices that are culturally meaningful to my clients while creating space for each person’s individual experiences, values, and strengths.
I know that beginning therapy and allowing someone into these parts of your life can feel vulnerable. It is an honor to be trusted with that process and to support others on their journey toward healing and wellness.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized to meet each client’s unique needs. I practice from a trauma-informed and strength-based perspective, with my clinical work heavily influenced by attachment theory, psychodynamic approaches, and neurobiology. I also often incorporate mindfulness-based and somatic practices and interventions into our work together.
I believe therapy can create space to better understand the experiences and patterns that have shaped us while also helping us reconnect with our strengths, relationships, and sense of self. I approach this process with curiosity and compassion, allowing our work together to evolve based on what feels most supportive and meaningful to you.
Outside the Therapy Room
Outside the therapy room, you will find me spending time with my family, gardening, tending to my indoor plants, or enjoying the somatic embrace of live music. I also love reading, camping, and mindfully enjoying the beauty and magic of nature.
Let’s Connect
You do not have to navigate the patterns, experiences, and transitions that have shaped you on your own. If you are looking for support that honors the complexity of your experiences, relationships, culture, and identity, we will help connect you with care that feels thoughtful, culturally responsive, and aligned with what matters to you.
