About Me

Hi, I’m Katie, an Associate Clinical Social Worker. I work with individuals navigating the emotional realities of infertility, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, and the postpartum period.  I understand that becoming a parent, or trying to become one, can bring both joy and unexpected emotional challenges that are not always talked about openly or easily.

This work is personal to me in many ways, and my perspective is shaped by both professional and lived experience. Becoming a mother to my rainbow baby has been one of the most meaningful experiences in my life, while also deepening my understanding of how complex and layered this stage of life can be.

I am especially attuned to the experiences of clients who are trying to make sense of shifting identities, emotional overwhelm, and the pressure to feel a certain way during pregnancy or postpartum. There can be a lot of expectations about what this time should look like, and it does not always match what you are actually feeling. My hope is that our work together allows you to be honest about your experience and feel supported without judgment.

Therapeutic Approach

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping you feel supported while also developing practical tools and skills. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution focused approaches while tailoring the work to your individual needs and experiences.

I often focus on helping you make sense of what you are feeling while finding ways to respond that feel manageable and realistic. Our work balances emotional insight with practical tools, with the goal of helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself over time.

Outside the Therapy Room

Outside of the therapy room, I am fully in my mom era. I love spending time with my family, going on walks, being outdoors, and incorporating holistic wellness practices into my daily life.
