About Me
Hi, I’m Anna, a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker based in California. I specialize in reproductive mental health, supporting individuals and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and the evolving experience of parenthood. I am also deeply committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming care and creating a therapeutic relationship where people feel respected, understood, and able to show up fully as themselves.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working as an educator and birth and postpartum doula. Those experiences continue to shape the way I understand caregiving, identity, and the emotional realities of moving through major life transitions. Much of my professional life has centered around walking alongside people during vulnerable and transformative seasons, and that perspective remains deeply woven into the way I approach this work.
I believe therapy should feel collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in genuine human connection. Even in moments when things feel unclear or overwhelming, I trust that people already carry important insight about themselves and their experiences. My role is not to direct or fix, but to sit with you in that emotional space, help you make sense of your experiences, and reconnect you with a clearer sense of who you truly are. Some parts of this process take time, and having a place where you can feel seen and supported can make a meaningful difference.
Therapeutic Approach
My approach is integrative, trauma informed, and grounded in creating a sense of safety and connection. I place a strong emphasis on relational work and self compassion, recognizing that many experiences need to be felt and understood before they can begin to shift.
I want to move at a pace that honors your experience, offering reflection and support while allowing space for your own insight to emerge. Therapy with me is less about problem-solving and more about creating a space where you can feel understood, supported, and gradually more connected to yourself.
Outside the Therapy Room
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my partner and children, baking, crafting, and playing music, especially bass and ukulele. Creativity has always been an important part of how I connect, express myself, and slow down in everyday life.
