Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Welcome! I’m glad you’re here!
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) and have been working in the counseling field since 2012. The therapeutic modalities I draw upon include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (including Trauma-Focused CBT and adapted CBT for neurodiverse communities), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Feminist Theory (aims to understand the nature of gender inequality and acknowledges systems of oppression that impact us all).
I received my Perinatal Mental Health – Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International. After experiencing first hand the challenges that arise during this vulnerable perinatal time and how isolating it can be, I decided I wanted to be part of the solution. I maintain that a healing aspect of counseling comes from a collaborative effort between counselor and client. With a compassionate and justice oriented lens, we’ll create a judgment free space where you can feel comfortable to process the hard questions and speak freely about the unknowns.
All people are welcome to inquire about counseling with me regardless of language, lifestyle, age, relationship status, belief system, ability, identity, citizenship status, race, ethnicity, unavailable childcare, life experience or thoughts on counseling. Whoever you are and wherever you’ve come from, I want you to feel welcomed here.
Outside of the counseling room, I can be found with my two kiddos and husband adventuring around the beaches or mountains of SoCal. I am an avid reader and musical theater nerd.
